  • Effective May 1, 2022, the Government of Albania repealed COVID-19-related entry requirements.  Travelers to Albania are not required to present proof of vaccination, a negative PCR test, or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in order to enter Albania.  The Government of Albania also lifted many COVID-19-related public health measures within the country. There are no restrictions on public movement, and bars and restaurants may operate any time of day.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Sanitary conditions for travellers on direct flights from the People's Republic of China to Belgium:
    • The measures apply until 31.01.2023, however they can be prolonged.
  • All travellers travelling by airway, from the age of 12 years, arriving on Belgian territory, coming directly from China must hold a test certificate.
  • Flight crew members who have spent less than 12 hours in the territory of the People's Republic of China are exempted from the requirement to hold a test certificate.
  • The public or private air carrier is required to check that the persons are in possession of a test certificate, prior to boarding. In the absence of such a certificate the carrier shall be under the obligation to refuse boarding.
  • Upon arrival on Belgian territory, the traveller will be rechecked by the airport operator and Saniport whether he holds this test certificate. In the absence of such a test certificate or in the event of false, misleading, or incomplete information in this certificate entry into the territory may be refused.
  • Test Certificate: an EU Digital COVID certificate or another certificate in Dutch, French, German or English, which indicates that a NAAT test (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test) with a negative result was carried out in an official laboratory not more than 48 hours prior to departure to Belgian territory, or that a RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) which is mentioned in the updated Council Recommendation on a common framework for the use and validation of rapid antigen tests and the mutual recognition of COVID-19 test results in the EU,  with a negative result was carried out by a professional not more than 48 hours prior to departure to Belgian territory.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • All passengers arriving in Spain by air from the People’s Republic of China, must have an EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent (based on Commission Implementing Decisions EU   ) which can be:
    • a.    A vaccination against COVID19 certificate
    • b.    A certificate of SARSCoV2 diagnostic test
    • c.    A COVID-19 recovery certificate
  • Passengers who do not have a valid EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent, must have a certificate of SARSCoV2 diagnostic test with negative result. The admitted tests will be:
    • a.    Molecular nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT), whose sample has been obtained within the 72 hours prior to departure.
    • b.    Rapid antigen detection tests, whose sample has been obtained within the 24 hours prior to departure. The admitted tests are those authorized by the European Commission, which you can consult at the following link   .
  • In addition to the previously described requirements, all passengers arriving in Spain from the People's Republic of China may be subjected to a diagnostic test for active infection at the point of entry and, if necessary, a medical assessment on epidemiological and clinical aspects of the passenger.
  • Children under 12 years of age and passengers who arrive in Spain in transit to other countries, provided they do not leave the airport environment, will be exempt from complying with all the measures described above.
  • No restrictions for the travelers from the other countries.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Following health measures apply for all passengers, regardless of their nationality, arriving from China:
    • 1/ Since December 31, 2022, anyone aged six or over must wear a mask on board planes bound for French territory from China.
    • 2/ From January 5, 2023 (application to planes leaving China on January 4, 2023), and until January 31, 2023, passengers aged eleven and over must present a negative PCR test result upon boarding, or antigen less than 48 hours old.
    • 3/ From January 5, 2023 (application to planes leaving China on January 4, 2023), all passengers must present to the airline on which they are traveling to France, before boarding, in addition to the negative result of the test, a declaration on honor attesting:
      • - That he does not show any symptoms of covid-19 infection
      • - That he is not aware of having been in contact with a confirmed case of covid-19 in the fourteen days preceding the flight;
      • - If he is eleven years of age or older, he accepts that a test can be carried out upon his arrival in the national territory. Random tests are carried out on this basis upon arrival in France.
      • - That he undertakes to remain contactable for at most 15 days after his arrival in France and, if the result of the test carried out on arrival in the national territory concludes to contamination by covid-19, to respect isolation seven days after his arrival in mainland France, and, if he is aged eleven or over, to perform a new test at the end of this seven-day period.
      • The sworn statement is made available to passengers by the airlines. It is also available on the Embassy website.
      • Boarding is refused to people who do not present the documents mentioned above (test result and sworn statement).
    • 4/ France has recommended the travelers who plan to go to China, especially to fragile and immunocompromised people, to consider postponing their trip, in the absence of an essential reason. Travelers who cannot postpone their trip are recommended to have a complete, up-to-date vaccination schedule and to respect barrier gestures.

On June 1st, the obligation to provide proof – vaccinated, recovered or tested negative – ended when entering Germany. Excluded are people arriving from a virus variant area. However, no country is currently classified as a virus variant area.

From June 11, 2022, the remaining corona-related entry restrictions for entry from third countries were also lifted. Due to a reciprocity reservation, however, this does not apply to entries by residents from China.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • From 15 March 2022 onwards, travelers visiting Greece are no longer required to fill out the Passenger Locator Form (PLF).
  • Additionally, as of May 1, 2022, all travelers arriving in Greece, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to display a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test).
  • However, a simplified PLF remains in operation, the completion of which is OPTIONAL, for the sole purpose of enabling the traveler / family to issue an EU Certificate of negative or positive COVID-19 test result. 
  • Travelers, who decide to fill out the simplified form, will receive the PLF with their unique Quick Response (QR) code via email (the QR code will be provided in a link in the email).
  • The PLF can also be found on the Visit Greece app and at travel.gov.gr. It is strongly recommended that all visitors download the Visit Greece app (GDPR compliant) for free, prior to their arrival in Greece.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Restrictions shall apply to all inbound passengers from China. The regulation sets out the following provisions:
    • 1.    Before embarking, the obligation for passengers to submit to the carrier a certificate proving to have taken a molecular test during the 72 preceding hours or an antigen test during the preceding 48 hours, with a negative test swab result.
    • 2.    The obligation to take an antigen swab test on arrival at the airport or, should this be impossible, to take it at the competent local health authority within 48 hours from the passenger’s entry in the national territory.
    • 3.    In case of testing positive to the antigen test, the obligation to immediately take a molecular test in order to enable the virus genome sequencing and a period of self-isolation in compliance with the current regulations.
    • 4.    The obligation to test negative to another antigen or molecular test to end the self-isolation period.
  • As long as free from COVID-19 symptoms, the above provisions do not apply to children under six, the members of the crew and on-board staff on the means of transport of passengers and goods, the officials and officers, however defined, of the European Union or of international organizations, diplomats, the administrative and technical staff of diplomatic missions, the officials and employees of Consulates, the military personnel, including those re-entering the Country from international missions, the Police Forces, the staff of the Information System for the Security of the Republic (Sistema di informazione per la sicurezza della Repubblica) and of the Fire Department in the exercise of their duties.
  • The Ordinance shall also apply to the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau.
  • No restrictions for the passengers from other countries.

  • Travelers from China to the Netherlands must have negative test result:
    • Travelers older than twelve years old arriving from China, whose final destination is the Netherlands, must have a negative COVID-19 test result upon their arrival in the Netherlands. This extra precaution is taken from 10th January 2023. In addition, and with immediate effect, people travelling on flights to and from China are urgently advised to wear a medical face mask.
    • For travellers, this means:
      • Travelers must have a negative test result before boarding their plane to the Netherlands.
      • The test result may have been issued on the basis of a NAAT(PCR)-test or an antigen test that is no more than 48 hours old at the time of departure to the Netherlands.
      • A check will take place upon arrival at Schiphol airport.
    • The test certificate must contain the following information:
      • Data that makes it possible to identify the person who was tested and when they were tested;
      • The result of the antigen test or the NAAT(PCR) test;
      • The conclusion stated in Dutch or English that the tested person is not infected with COVID-19 at that time;
      • A logo or characteristic of an institute or doctor where or by whom the test was administered.
    • In addition, there is an immediate urgent advice to wear a medical mouth mask on flights to and from China. Travelers will also receive a free self-test and information about its use at Schiphol airport.
    • Travellers arriving from China at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport will also still receive a free self-test and instructions on how to use it. These measures are being introduced well in advance of Chinese New Year, when a peak in arrivals from China is expected.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • All passengers arriving in Spain by air from the People’s Republic of China, must have an EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent (based on Commission Implementing Decisions EU   ) which can be:
    • a.    A vaccination against COVID19 certificate
    • b.    A certificate of SARSCoV2 diagnostic test
    • c.    A COVID-19 recovery certificate
  • Passengers who do not have a valid EU Digital COVID Certificate or equivalent, must have a certificate of SARSCoV2 diagnostic test with negative result. The admitted tests will be:
    • a.    Molecular nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT), whose sample has been obtained within the 72 hours prior to departure.
    • b.    Rapid antigen detection tests, whose sample has been obtained within the 24 hours prior to departure. The admitted tests are those authorized by the European Commission, which you can consult at the following link   .
  • In addition to the previously described requirements, all passengers arriving in Spain from the People's Republic of China may be subjected to a diagnostic test for active infection at the point of entry and, if necessary, a medical assessment on epidemiological and clinical aspects of the passenger.
  • Children under 12 years of age and passengers who arrive in Spain in transit to other countries, provided they do not leave the airport environment, will be exempt from complying with all the measures described above.
  • No restrictions for the travelers from the other countries.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Temporary entry restrictions for travelers from China apply from January 7:
    • All travelers from China need to present a negative COVID-19 test result upon arrival in Sweden, regardless of their vaccination status. 
    • The test requirement applies to adults and children over the age of 12 who are third-country nationals. 
    • There are certain exemptions from the test requirement, for example people with residence permits in Sweden, long-term residents of the EU and EEA, and travellers with imperative family reasons. 
    • The entry restrictions do not apply to Swedish citizens.
  • The temporary entry restrictions on travel from China apply until 28 January.

United Kingdom - Open with Restrictions 01/04/2023

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Travel from mainland China
    • From 5 January 2023, there are different rules if you travel to England from mainland China.
    • You will need to take a COVID-19 test no more than 2 days before you travel.
    • Children aged 11 and under do not have to take a COVID-19 test before travelling to England from mainland China.
    • This applies to all direct and indirect flights originating from mainland China. An indirect flight involves stops in one or more other countries or territories before arriving in England. This includes if you are travelling through Hong Kong or Macao.
    • It applies if England is your final destination, or if you will be transiting through England.
    • You must provide the original test result notification. This will be checked by your airline. 
    • From 8 January 2023, some passengers will be invited to take a voluntary test on arrival to monitor for potential new variants. This applies to passengers aged 18 or over who are travelling from mainland China and arriving at Heathrow Airport only.
  • Travel from all other countries and territories
    • When you travel to England, you:
      • do not need to complete a UK passenger locator form before you travel
      • do not need to take any COVID-19 tests before you travel or after you arrive
      • do not need to quarantine when you arrive
    • This applies whether you are vaccinated or not.
    • It includes people who are transiting through England.
