  • Effective May 1, 2022, the Government of Albania repealed COVID-19-related entry requirements.  Travelers to Albania are not required to present proof of vaccination, a negative PCR test, or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in order to enter Albania.  The Government of Albania also lifted many COVID-19-related public health measures within the country. There are no restrictions on public movement, and bars and restaurants may operate any time of day.

        • Upon arrival at the airport follow the signals indicating the ORANGE WAY .
      • b)    QR SPTH . If you do not have the EU Digital COVID Certificate or EU equivalent, you must fill in the SPTH Health Control Form manually entering the details of your vaccination, recovery or diagnostic test certificate through the website https://www.spth.gob.es/ Will open in a new window or the Spain Travel Health application -SpTH- (Android, iOS, Huawei). The system will send you a QR code that you will have to present both prior boarding, and upon your arrival in Spain. BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • As of June 11, all COVID‑19 entry restrictions to Germany are lifted for the time being. Entry to Germany is permitted for all travel purposes (including tourism and visits). Individuals resident in the People’s Republic of China, however, continue to require an important reason for travelling to Germany (reciprocity reservation). For entry into Germany no proof of vaccination, recovery or testing is required any longer.
  • Entry restrictions would still apply for any traveler from the Areas of Variant of Concern. Currently there are no states designated as virus variant areas. 
  • Are U.S. citizens permitted to enter? Yes. As of June 11, travelers from all countries except China can enter Germany for all purposes, including tourism. Residents of China will need to demonstrate an important need to travel (due to reciprocity).
    • Effective June 11, 2022, travelers are no longer required to show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery, or a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Germany, unless they are entering from an RKI-designated virus variant area  (see more information below).
    • Please refer to the German Foreign Office’s information for travelers  and the Frequently Asked Questions  on the German Interior Ministry’s website.
  • Digital Registration on Entry: Persons entering Germany who have spent time in an RKI-designated virus variant area  in the 10 days prior to entry are required to submit a digital registration on entry .
  • Is a negative COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) required for entry? 
    • Travelers who have been in a virus-variant area  in the last 10 days must present a negative PCR test, not older than 48 hours, regardless of vaccination or recovery status. A rapid antigen test is not accepted in this case.
    • Children under the age of 12 do not need to provide proof of a negative test.
  • Are health screening procedures in place at airports and other ports of entry? Yes.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • From 15 March 2022 onwards, travelers visiting Greece are no longer required to fill out the Passenger Locator Form (PLF).
  • Additionally, as of Sunday 01.05.2022 and for as long as the epidemiological data allow so, all travelers arriving in Greece, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to display a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test).
  • However, a simplified PLF remains in operation, the completion of which is OPTIONAL, for the sole purpose of enabling the traveler / family to issue an EU Certificate of negative or positive COVID-19 test result. 
  • Travelers, who decide to fill out the simplified form, will receive the PLF with their unique Quick Response (QR) code via email (the QR code will be provided in a link in the email).
  • The PLF can also be found on the Visit Greece app and at travel.gov.gr. It is strongly recommended that all visitors download the Visit Greece app (GDPR compliant) for free, prior to their arrival in Greece.

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Traveling to Ireland
    • From Sunday 6 March 2022, travellers to Ireland are not required to show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery or a negative PCR test result upon arrival.
    • There are no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements for travellers to Ireland.
    • Any individual that develops COVID-19 symptoms while in Ireland should follow the HSE guidance in relation to isolation and undertaking antigen or PCR testing as appropriate.
  • Passenger Locator Form
    • From Sunday 6 March 2022, travellers to Ireland are no longer asked to complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form.
    • Travel carriers will not ask to check a PLF receipt prior to travel to Ireland.
  • Travelling to Northern Ireland
    • Travellers transiting from overseas to Northern Ireland via Ireland ports or airports still need to comply with UK travel requirements. This includes completing a UK Passenger Locator Form. See further information on UK requirements for transiting passengers.
  • Travelling overseas from Ireland
    • While all travel requirements to enter Ireland have been removed, other EU and non-EU countries may still require travelers to hold either:
      • proof of vaccination
      • proof of recovery, or
      • a negative test result
    • Following changes to EU rules from 1 February 2022:
      •  vaccine certificates for primary vaccination series are not accepted for travel if more than 270 days have passed since the final dose in the primary vaccine series. Persons travelling with only a vaccination certificate showing their primary series must ensure that it is still in the acceptable date range
      • vaccine certificates based on booster/additional doses are not time limited and persons travelling with this additional document are not subject to the 270 day acceptance period

  • Digital COVID Certificates
    • The Digital COVID Certificate is a standardised record of a medical event which took place in an EU country. These certificates are issued for vaccination, recovery and test results under EU law.
    • While travellers to Ireland will not be asked to show their Digital COVID Certificate upon arrival, the certificates will continue to be issued as proof of a medical event.
    • Travellers who require a Digital COVID Certificate for booster vaccination, recovery or test results to travel to another country can still request one.

Thus, persons (of all nationalities) aged 12 years and 2 months or over, authorized to enter Luxembourg, are no longer required to present, upon boarding, a vaccination certificate, a certificate of recovery or the negative result of a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA carried out less than 48 hours before the flight, or of a SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test carried out less than 24 hours before the flight. It should be noted that, even if the obligation to present one of the 3 documents is no longer applicable for entries by air, the presentation of a vaccination certificate or a recovery certificate remains one of the means of proving the right to enter Luxembourg under the temporary restrictions that apply to third country nationals.

    • Passengers arriving in Spain by AIR OR SEA from these countries will NOT be required to present the SpTH health control form or a COVID-19 certificate.
  • PASSENGERS FROM COUNTRIES THAT DO NOT BELONG TO THE EUROPEAN UNION OR ARE NOT CONSIDERED AS ASSOCIATED COUNTRIES SCHENGEN:
    • Passengers arriving in Spain by AIR (except children under the age of 12 and passengers in international transit) from countries that DO NOT belong to the European Union or are NOT considered Schengen associated countries, must have one of these documents:
      • a)    DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE OR EU EQUIVALENT  vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative certificate of an active infection diagnostic test or a certificate of recovery after passing the disease. You can check if your certificate is valid on the website https://www.spth.gob.es/ Will open in a new window or in the Spain Travel Health app -SpTH- (Android, iOS, Huawei).
        • Upon arrival at the airport follow the signals indicating the ORANGE WAY .
      • b)    QR SPTH . If you do not have the EU Digital COVID Certificate or EU equivalent, you must fill in the SPTH Health Control Form manually entering the details of your vaccination, recovery or diagnostic test certificate through the website https://www.spth.gob.es/ Will open in a new window or the Spain Travel Health application -SpTH- (Android, iOS, Huawei). The system will send you a QR code that you will have to present both prior boarding, and upon your arrival in Spain. In the health control, you may be required to present this document certifying vaccination, diagnostic test or recovery.
        • Upon arrival at the airport follow the signals indicating the BLUE WAY .
  • Passengers from 12 years of age, who arrive in Spain by SEA from countries that DO NOT belong to the European Union or are NOT considered Schengen associated countries must be in possession of one of the required health certificates (vaccination, recovery or diagnostic test), whether it is an EU CCD/EU Equivalent or another type, without being required to complete a health control form.
