Health advice due to COVID-19 is continually changing. Rules and restrictions to prevent outbreaks can change quickly. Many countries are implementing COVID-19 measures for people travelling from China, including Hong Kong and Macau. It’s important to regularly check the rules in the destinations you’re travelling to and transiting through.

 

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • All arrivals to Iraq must present a negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours.
  • Fully vaccinated arrivals are exempt.
  • Arrivals to the Iraqi Kurdistan region must present a negative PCR test, no older than 48 hours or proof of vaccination.
  • The Iraqi CAA have medical teams deployed to all civil airports to screen travelers coming from affected countries when flights are in operation. You should comply with any additional screening measures put in place by the Iraqi authorities.
  • From 1 April 2022, if you cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, you must evidence this with a medical report, as well as with proof of a PCR test conducted in the previous 72 hours. You should note that a PCR test certificate issued in KRI would not be accepted at Baghdad, Basra and Najaf airports.

Fines for Non-Compliance

  • Individuals not complying with curfew, social distancing, and/or masking requirements may be subject to fines.  Those not complying may be denied entry to the airport and/or boarding.
  • Public hospitals throughout Iraq are offering COVID-19 testing.  In addition, private labs can do same-day PCR testing results and are authorized by the Government of Iraq to provide tests to those intending to travel

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • All arriving general aviation international PAX flights may only land at LLBG
  • Currently there is no need to fill out the Israel Entry Form, and there is no need to present a recovery or vaccination certificate in order to enter Israel. However, these are the standards set by the Israeli Ministry of Health, you should also check the instructions of the relevant airline or cruise line. Masks are no longer required on international flights.

  • Confirmed COVID cases will not be permitted to board a flight to Israel. If you were confirmed with COVID and have not yet recovered according to the required protocol in Israel and in the state from which the flight departs – do not board the flight.
  • Due to the COVID-19 situation in China, we recommend that all those entering Israel perform a PCR test. The test can be done free of charge at Ben Gurion Airport, between 7:00-21:00 every day on the ground floor (G), in the walkway to "Hapardes" parking lot (after exiting Gate 03).

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Effective May 23, 2022, Oman’s Supreme Committee on COVID-19 announced the lifting of all COVID-19 restrictions in the Sultanate of Oman effective immediately. The Omani Ministry of Health last published daily case numbers on May 19, 2022: no new case numbers have been reported to date.
  • Oxford-AstraZeneca, AstraZeneca-Covshield, Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac, Sinopharm, and Sputnik V vaccines are approved for administration in the Sultanate for those eligible to receive vaccines. Currently, vaccines are available for individuals over 12 years of age and older. Omani health clinics make the final determination on recipients of vaccine administration.

Travelers coming to the Sultanate may be required to:

  • Present a vaccination certificate indicating they have received at least 2 doses of a Sultanate approved COVID19 vaccine. The last dose is required to be taken at least fourteen (14) days ahead of the estimated arrival time.
  • As of March 23, 2022 The Sultanate has approved the following vaccines for use in and entry to the Sultanate: Oxford-AstraZeneca, AstraZeneca-Covshield, Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik V, Novovax, CanSinoBio, Covaxin and Sputnik Lite.
  • Specific to GA/Private flights
    • Non-schedule/Private jets passenger flights with Omani pax are allowed to operate at OOMS & OOSA. Subject to PACA approval.
    • Non-schedule/Private jets passenger flights with GCC nationals pax are allowed to operate at OOMS & OOSA. Subject to PACA approval.
    • Non-schedule/Private jets passenger flights with Non-Omani pax with resident permit are allowed to operate at OOMS & OOSA. Subject to PACA approval.
    • Non-schedule/Private jets passenger flights with Non-Omani pax without resident permit are allowed to operate at OOMS & OOSA. Subject to PACA approval.
  • Specific to Diplomatic/Military flights
    • Diplomatic/Military flights are allowed to operate at OOMS & OOSA, provided diplomatic landing permit is obtained by operator thru MOFA.
  • Specific to Cargo flights
    • Cargo flights are allowed to operate at OOMS and OOSA. Subject to PACA approval.

  • Saudi Arabia will allow travelers from all other countries to enter the Kingdom if they are fully vaccinated (with booster for vaccines for which it is required) with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, including: Pfizer, Moderna, Oxford AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin, Sputnik and Covovax.
  • No negative COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) required for entry to Saudi Arabia.
  • Visitors must download and register on the Tawakkalna application and assign a home location through the app.  Travelers are instructed to not disable or disconnect the application, not turn off their phone or the app’s GPS, and keep their phone connected to the internet.
  • All non-resident travelers coming to Saudi Arabia are required to have insurance covering the risks of coronavirus infection.
