Oct. 21, 2019 – MIAMI – World Fuel Services recently unveiled fbo360 as the name of its newest software application that was built from the ground up by FBO employees, for FBO employees. World Fuel Services will announce details of its functionality and benefits at the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas.

Formerly called Project Catapult, fbo360 reflects the ongoing inputs from more than 100 FBOs that have, and continue to, participate in the development including initial discovery, usability testing and product design feedback. Live beta testing begins in Q4 of 2019 and will continue until the full market release in late 2020. This customer-driven program has been focused on simplifying the complete life cycle of an aircraft from reservation through fueling to billing, while providing mobile capabilities and key integrations with leading industry aviation and accounting providers.

World Fuel Services has also refocused AvPOS to recognize its core value as a superior credit card processing engine. AvPOS is the world’s largest business aviation processing platform and a highly efficient, one-stop source used by 2,800 fixed-base operations (FBOs) around the world. All World Fuel Services’ software will adopt the branding “powered by AvPOS” including the newly released fbo360. AvPOS is also available for Phillips 66 Aviation Fuel and KH Inc.’s fuel card businesses.

“We listened to and partnered with our customers to simplify and streamline the customer experience process through fbo360,” says Steve Drzymalla, SVP Business Aviation Bulk Fuel. “Our vision is that fbo360 and AvPOS become the leading members of our software product family.”

World Fuel Services will continue to support its legacy products and their user communities including Total Aviation Software (TAS), Total FBO and MyFBO.

“Our goal has been to catapult our offerings far into the future. The innovative, user-driven fbo360 software is enhanced by the proven processing power of AvPOS, to make an incredible combination for the FBO of today and tomorrow,” says Drzymalla.
